I recently had someone ask on my Facebook page how Seven+ PROformance was different from MonaVie. I thought it would be helpful to everyone if I shared my answer (and then some) here as well.
I was not familiar with MonaVie, so I had to do some poking around. When I looked at their ingredient label, I was not very impressed. A fancy bottle with…fruit and vegetable juices. I’ll give them credit for the flaxseed oil, but what about soy? d-glucosamine hydrochloride? Baker’s yeast? Cyanocobalamin is the cheapest and worst B-12 choice you can make (as anyone who’s read my B-12 article would know), cellulose (wood or human hair?) and some other things I can’t pronounce.
The most alarming ingredient, though, is sodium benzoate. A chemical reaction between sodium benzoate and Vitamin C (one serving of MonaVie gives you 30% RDA Vitamin C) creates Benzine, a highly carcinogenic chemical.
Seven+ PROformance, on the other hand, is a combination of botanical extracts from seven superfoods…
Noni - supports the immune system and is anti-inflammatory
Gac - supports vascular health and cellular rejuvenation for smooth skin
Goji - improves eyesight, protects the liver, improves cardiovascular circulation
Acai - rich with antioxidants and amino acids, potassium, calcium, and more vitamins
Mangosteen - combats and neutralizes free radicals, supports intestinal health
Seabuckthorn - 12X the amount of Vitamin C as found in an orange, is anti-aging
Fucoidan (Brown Seaweed) – nutrition closely resembles human breastmilk, detoxifier
as well as pomegranate and aloe vera extract.
You are consuming pure, concentrated extracts that are non-GMO and certified Kosher.
I also want to compare the sugar content:
Seven+ PROformance contains 1.725g‘s per serving.
MonaVie contains 7g‘s per serving – yikes!
So does Seven+ PROformance cost more then? Well…no!
The aforementioned poster shared that she tried MonaVie and it was okay, but it was $40 a bottle and lasted her just one week at 2 ounces a serving.
Seven+ PROformance is $40 for an entire month’s supply (in fact, I can get new customers a Buy 1 Get 1 coupon if you just ask!) and you only need 1 ounce per day. Post a comment or e-mail me.
So now you know!
