Festive Traditions review and giveaway!

What I love about this book is the recipes can be used any time of year. I enjoy, for example, Thanksgiving foods, and wonder why I don’t have them more often? I mean seriously, why don’t we have butternut squash and stuffing and cranberry sauce at least every month?

Festive Traditions, A Real Food Guide to the Holidays is a real treat. Inside you will find everything from Spinach Artichoke Dip to Gingerbread Muffins and Sweet Potato Casserole.

Most of the recipes in this book are marked gluten-free. There are also recipes marked dairy-free, fish-free, and nuts-free. All recipes are soy-free.

As for sweeteners, no high fructose corn syrup here! As often as permitted, the desserts and breakfast recipes are sweetened with fruits (bananas, dates, etc.). Otherwise the sweeteners are raw honey, maple syrup, coconut sugar, or sucanat.
