Magnesium is important to our health - I think most of us realize that. But did you know that it is vital to over 300 processes in our bodies? The truth is most of us just aren’t getting enough. Not only is the soil depleted, but there are things we put in our bodies that deplete magnesium - even stress depletes magnesium!
When you have enough magnesium, you may notice relief from heartburn. Pregnant mamas out there may discover morning sickness is abated. Magnesium supplementation is a wonderful remedy for those suffering from adrenal issues.
Although you can take magnesium supplements, there are so many fillers that are to be avoided, and finding a good quality supplement isn’t easy. Not to mention taking too much, or the wrong kind of magnesium, can cause loose stools. Taking epsom salt baths is helpful - but my favorite way? Applying magnesium oil or magnesium oil lotion directly on the skin. Your skin will absorb the magnesium, and it’s quicker than taking a bath!
Although you can make your own magnesium oil lotion, I got a jar from Creative Christian Mama. She makes super wonderful magnesium oil lotion. Mine is thicker, and in a tub, but she just came out with a thinner kind that you squeeze out of a bottle. Either way, it’s less messy than straight magnesium oil! You can find the products here: Buy Magnesium Lotion.

Lotion is next up on my list to create, but I would love to try this premade.
