Make Your Own Baked Beans — 1 Comment

  1. I guess I must have been in my 20′s before I actually realized you could buy canned baked beans or anything but pork and beans or green beans. I grew up in a house with a mom that cooked. I can’t even imagine not knowing how to make baked beans. Now if I’m really honest I will admit that I rarely bake mine. I like them cooked on the stove top because it’s so much quicker. And I’ll use navy, great northern even pinto if that’s what I’ve got on hand. Right now I have pinto, black and great northern in the freezer. Who needs cans? lol
