Ora Wellness Brushing Blend - review and giveaway!

Back in June we posted a series of articles where I had interviewed OraWellness. They were:

Part One: Why is gum disease prevalent even though we brush regularly?
Part Two: Is it possible to remineralize our teeth? And a word on oil pulling…
Part Three: What causes bad breath, and how do I get rid of it?
Part Four: How important is diet when it comes to teeth health?
Part Five: What is the best way to heal receding gums?
Part Six: Is flossing harmful to the gums, or essential?
Part Seven: The Bass technique of brushing your teeth and its effectiveness on teeth health.
Part Eight: Ora Wellness’ Thoughts on the Miswak (Natural Toothbrush).

Today I review for you their Brushing Blend, which I have been using for several months now. I love it! My teeth feel clean, have whitened, and my receding gums actually have improved…

Look, you don’t need to feel sudsy lather to know your teeth are getting clean. This brushing blend is so powerful, you only need a couple of drops to effectively clean your teeth. I only put one drop on my kid’s toothbrushes, and I soak mine down with 4-5 drops (they only recommend 3-4 drops). At this rate, we are only 2/3rds done with the bottle and have been using it four months or so already!

Why this Brushing Blend is so Powerful

OraWellness starts with a high-quality blend of organic essential oils in an almond oil base. These are the essential oils used in this powerful Brushing Blend:

Cinnamon - used medicinally for thousands of years, this spice kills fungi, bacteria and other microorganisms that cause bodily harm such as botulism, staph, and aflatoxin. Cinnamon essential oil as the highest concentration of power against steproccus mutans, the bacteria that is responsible for gum disease (read more here). It’s also antimicrobial.

Peppermint - also used for thousands of years, this essential oil is most effective in killing the anaerobic bacteria that thrive on our gum lines. Peppermint essential oil is also effective against certain bacteria strains (read more here).

Spearmint - another great choice that has been around for a long, long time. Spearmint works as an antiseptic and helps tissue heal due to its soothing abilities. Spearmint is also anti-bacteria, anti-fungal, and anti-viral (read more here).

Clove - historically proven to inhibit pathogenic bacteria and relieve tooth pain. A great disinfectant and super strong ability to inhibit bacteria growth or mutant bacteria (read more here).

Manuka - a relative newcomer, manuka is similar to tea tree oil, but is more effective against pathogenic bacteria, fungi, and viruses. Preventing oral bacteria to attach themselves to the tooth surface, manuka makes your mouth less hospitable for bad bacteria (read more here).

Myrrh - another ancient spice, a wonderful, soothing antiseptic. Supports blood flow to the gums and effective in supporting gum health (read more here).

What Brushing Blend does NOT have

NO fluoride
NO sodium lauryl or laureth anything
NO glycerin
NO sugars

What else you can use Brushing Blend for

Brush your tongue!

Use as a mouthwash - diluted in water, of course.

Run it along your floss and get between your teeth for maximum bacteria-busting power.

Brushing Blend is economical

Before using Ora Wellness’ Brushing Blend, I was spending $6 a month on toothpaste (minimum). I was a toothpaste snob (no fluoride for me!), and fluoride-free toothpaste is not cheap!

The Brushing Blend, on the other hand, is $22 for a bottle that has lasted me over 4 months and is only 2/3rds gone. Doing the math, this will last me six months and only cost me $3.66 a month. That is close to half what I was spending before! And I have been using double the drops they recommend, too…

Brushing Blend - buy some!

You can purchase a bottle here and you can get a FREE Bass toothbrush (boy, I love these things - they work well and last forever!) - however you must include a note in the customer note section stating “Nourishing Treasures free brush offer” to get your free brush.

You have nothing to lose, as Ora Wellness has a 365 Day, No Questions, 100% Money Back Guarantee!

Ora Wellness Brushing Blend - review and giveaway! — 44 Comments

  1. I’ve been trying to find some way to keep my teeth clean, have fresh breath, without using fluoride or other dangerous chemicals in my mouth. The brushing blend sounds like an economical solution too, I hadn’t realized until now that it lasts that long.

  2. I’m hoping that something like Ora Wellness Brushing Blend will convince my husband that we can oust the fluoride filled tubes and still have fresh feeling mouths!

  3. The reason I want to win is really personal, and I tend to be a bit shy about posting, but I imagine many others are in a similar situation. Things are not going well in our lives, and I have been experiencing random gum bleeding, some recession of gum line, have noticed signs of tooth decay, and even tooth/jaw pain. I typically have been keeping essential oils out of my household to the best of my ability, as I have feline furkids and most EOs are not readily broken down by their livers-thus toxic. But, as you can imagine, I’m feeling a bit desperate. I know this is only one thing of many that I might need to stave off even more damage, but I’m hoping something is better than nothing (should I win).

    Thanks for putting this together!

  4. I really want to win!, because I haven’t been able to afford to see a dentist in a very long time and my teeth need a lot of help. Love products that have such high standards and quality!. Trying to lose weight, get healthy and to get rid of the toxic chemicals in my body!.

  5. I am fighting stage 4 cancer and have switched to everything I can think of from cleaning supplies to personal care items. I would love to try this product!

  6. I have been trying to change many things in our lives the last couple of years. Toothpaste is one of them . For the moment we are using baking soda. I am wonder if this toothpaste is better than even baking soda. I sounds like it. I would like to win so I can try it.

  7. I use burts bee’s toothpaste currently. But I’d love to win this ora wellness brushing blend. I know glycerin is bad for your teeth and I’d like to get away from it. But atleast I don’t use fluoride toothpaste.

  8. I’ve been making a lot of changes to try to improve my dental health, and after a recent visit to my dentist, it seems it’s still not helping quite enough. I’d really love to give this brushing blend a shot.

  9. I’ve been slowly moving away from all harsh, unnecessary, and toxic chemicals in our household. While I’m all about trying new stuff, my husband isn’t as enthusiastic to drop the fluoride… hopefully this will help change his mind!

  10. I have been looking forever for a great toothpaste. I don’t want my children (ages 5, 4 and 2) to have fluoride and I myself don’t want it either. We have been using Spry toothpaste but my husband is not a fan and with all the artificial ingredients in things…it makes me sick! I want something natural, wholesome and that also works! It’s so ard to find nowadays. This would be a true blessing <3

  11. I would love to find a teeth cleaner that works without all the added junk. My husband is working on getting his teeth back to full health after a lifetime of not much care (he’s British and stubborn!). Thanks for the giveaway!
