Oh it was a happy mail day when my Two Wild Hares soaps arrived. As soon as I opened the box, the delicious aromas hit my nose and I simply swooned!
First of all, I am picky about where I get my soap. Because I don’t want anything ON my skin I wouldn’t sit down and eat, I always check the ingredients. After looking through the soaps on Nicole’s website, I was sold. Not only were the ingredients awesome, I loved how she processes them, too. Most soap out there contains sodium lauryl sulfate, as it requires zero time to cure. Two Wild Hares soap uses food-grade lye, which makes for a longer process. The end result is you aren’t slathering nasty chemicals on your skin - which is always preferred 
I was impressed at the amount of time Nicole and her family spent developing their soap recipe - 7 years! This is not a company who just decided to make soap last month. Soap Bars I Have from Two Wild Hares
The three I got in the mail were the Ancient Oils & Detox Clay, Mayan Mocha, and Coffee.
Here is what Nicole says about her Ancient Oils & Detox Clay: “This soap is made with Redmond brand bentonite clay, a natural mineral rich toxin binding earth clay. This clay has electromagnetic charged particles that draw toxins from your skin and has been used for detoxication for many years. This aromatic bar also contains thieves essential oil blend which is legendary for it’s healing qualities.”
INGREDIENTS: Olive oil, lard, coconut oil, water, lye, Redmond brand bentonite clay, lemon eo, clove eo, cinnamon eo, rosemary eo, eucalyptus eo.
Ahhh, Coffee! I don’t drink hot coffee, but I love the aroma. This soap doesn’t have an overly rich aroma, and it’s awesome for removing harsh odors from your hands.
INGREDIENTS: Olive oil, lard, coconut oil, coffee, lye, instant espresso, coffee fragrance oil.
Mayan Mocha is my absolute fave. I could just sit here and inhale the soap alllll day.
INGREDIENTS: Olive oil, lard, coconut oil, water, lye, Barry Extra Brute cocoa, cinnamon, gingerbread fragrance oil, allspice, cloves.
