Jerky Direct Beef Jerky - review and giveaway!

You know, it’s really difficult to avoid purchasing food when we go out. Since we live almost an hour from where we shop, and I do two weeks at a time, we usually fall into lunch time and the temptation to grab fast-food is great.

So I was thrilled when my sampler from Jerky Direct came on our way out to town! We were able to avoid fast-food as my children devoured not one, but two, packages of jerky.

Jerky Direct offers beef jerky, buffalo jerky, and turkey jerky, as well as fruit stix and pet treats - all in several varieties. Lake Ramm, my Independent Distributor, sent me the Organic Beef Jerky in Original and Teriyaki. You can see the full list of products here: Jerky Direct Product List.

I am pleased that the Organic line of beef was raised without hormones or antibiotics - and it’s gluten free! Can’t say that about a cheeseburger!

Jerky is simply a wonderful option for a tote-able protein. Less messy than peanut butter, and won’t spoil like cheese.

If you like what you see, consider their Preferred Customer Autoship Account where you can get a monthly auto-ship and a flat shipping rate of just $1.97.

Now that you are drooling, use the Rafflecopter widget below to enter to win two bags of Organic Original and two bags of Organic Teriyaki jerky from Lake Ramm’s Jerky Direct store

Jerky Direct Beef Jerky - review and giveaway! — 16 Comments

  1. I’m always open to new sources for my food, even if I’m happy with sources I have. So many good sources out there.

I’m not a big jerky eater, but I got my second order recently from http://www.gourmetgrassfedmeat.com/ to have for emergency rations and those times I don’t feel like cooking and want something quick.

This company sells organically grown grass-fed jerky in two flavors. Their prices look comparable to Jerky Direct. Gourmet Grassfed says they smoke their jerky; Jerky Direct uses “natural smoke flavoring”.

This jerky doesn’t claim an 18-month shelf life, but I find my supply doesn’t last that long anyway.

  2. I was just considering trying to add more protein to my diet to lose some weight. This would be a great opportunity to find a source for organic jerky and try out my new plan!

  3. We all love jerky and I would especially like to have some of this now, as I am certain that I can no longer eat out any more due to the awful headaches I get when I do. I’ve decided it is not worth it and am going to take my own food whenever we are out and about and find we just have to eat before we can get home.

  4. My Hubby loves jerky, but I hate him eating processed stuff. So, I want him to have a chance the taste the goodness of organic jerky and be hooked for life!!

  5. Our family is ridiculously addicted to jerky. Finding good jerky without all the yuckies like HFCS, MSG, etc. can be tricky. When we find a brand that tastes good AND good for us, we totally stock up! Would love to try this!
