I use my egg slicer for so many things (and so far - never eggs!). Slicing bananas is something I’ve done for years. Bananas are so soft and do really well in the egg slicer.

Aren’t they beautiful? I love the consistency of the thickness of the banana. Here they are on my Nesco food dehydrator trays:
And here they are after drying. They are deliciously chewy like taffy - or leave them longer for banana chips that snap!
I like to store my dehydrated food in Fido jars. They are nice and airtight and the food stays crisp and doesn’t sog up. I also use mason jars with a metal lid and ring (not white lid - they aren’t airtight).
