Killer Grease-Remover Oven Scrub (Photo Tutorial)

This is the same basic paste I used to clean out my old fridge before giving it away. I was shocked at how marks inside my fridge that were unable to come off for years were just wiping off so easily!

I never posted that recipe (I need to), but when my stoneware cookie sheet cracked in the oven while I was baking turkey thighs, it made quite the mess. Unable to clean it before baking a chicken, it baked on hard.

I admit the oven wasn’t pristine before the spill, and it really needed to be scrubbed out before I used it again.

Knowing what a wonderful job Lemon essential oil does for removing stickers and other stuck-on things, I knew it would be great in this paste. I was right! This is now my go-to scrub when nothing else fails. In fact it will be my first choice, since it works so darn well!

Itch-Be-Gone essential oil recipe - relieves heat rash, bug bites, and more!

My daughter’s back gets hot, especially with her hair laying on it all the time (she loves her hair down!). Last month she got a heat rash that flared by her scratching a bug bite in the same area. We treated just with the witch hazel, and it went away within a week.

She got the heat rash and bug-bites combo again, and this time I added essential oils to the blend to accelerate the healing process and kill the itch.

As promised, I asked the members of the Learning About Essential Oils Facebook group, and Black Pepper was requested as the oil profiled this week.
